Player Registration

The Fall Classic League is Scarborough Soccer Club’s primary autumn travel program, administered by Soccer Maine. Running from late August through early November, this league features boys and girls teams competing in age divisions from U9 through U14. The focus is on structured, competitive play in a fun environment, with an emphasis on player development, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game.

The focus in Fall Classic League from ages U9 through U11 is on balanced teams and player development.  Players are coached and rotated through all phases of the game for their learning and development.  Age U12 in the Soccer Maine program is a transitional competitive year, where clubs balance multiple teams for equal skill and experience, but this age group does maintain win/loss rankings and ends with a competitive tournament for regional and state championships.

Ages U13 and U14 are fully competitive with teams grouped into D1 (most competitive) and D2 leagues within Soccer Maine.

Player Evaluations: player evaluations for the Fall Classic League are held in May (schedule to be published).  This evaluations are mandatory to ensure our teams are balanced to ensure the best experience for all players and that competitive age group players have the best opportunity to showcase their skill and ability.

Registration for Fall Classic 2026 will open April 1st, 2026 – April 30th, 2026.
