About Us

Scarborough Soccer Club (SSC) is a non-profit organization committed to providing a competitive, supportive, and fun soccer experience for the youth of Scarborough. The Club plays what is commonly known as “travel soccer” and is a proud member of SoccerMaine, the state governing body, and U.S. Youth Soccer, the national organization overseeing youth soccer development across the country.

Our mission is simple: to provide a fun and competitive youth soccer experience with a strong focus on player development.

Celebrating Over 25 Years

2024 marked a milestone year as Scarborough Soccer Club celebrated its 25th season. What began in 1999 with a small group of enthusiastic parents has grown into one of Maine’s most successful youth soccer organizations.

In our Fall 2025 season, SSC proudly fielded 29 teams with more than 350 players. While much has changed over the past quarter century, one thing has remained constant: our dedication to developing players, fostering a love of the game, and creating lasting community connections.

As we look forward, we continue to honor our past while embracing new opportunities to strengthen our future.
